Default Subprime sell off in Japan

How much longer do you think this Subprime mortgage thing is going to continue? Tokyo started the day lower with stocks like Nippon Steel and Mitsubishi Tokyo hit hard. I am thinking this is a buying opportunity. You would think that given the reporting rules for public companies most of this Subprime news has to be out. I am a buyer.

I think with the lingering impact of the US subprime crisis, all world economies and stock markets will be negatively impacted by the US contagion. Japan is no exception and as the world's second largest economy, it should be resilient enough to withstand the downward pressure.
