Real estate and shares..which one a better deal...??

Is it wise to invest your money in shares or real estate is a better option??I think in both the cases you block your money.

I think both of them is a good choice to invest in and both are long term investment types but I'd prefer stocks because its easier to sell shares just incase you badly needed money than real estate.
